Big Olney Food Festival Charity Raffle Terms & Conditions

The BOFF raffle is an ‘incidental lottery’, subject to the laws of England, Wales and Scotland and run under the rules laid down by the Gambling Act 2005. All proceeds from this raffle go to Young Minds Charity. Registered Charity Numbers 1016968 & SC039700. The promoter is Olney Events.

Entering the raffle

Participants in the BOFF Raffle 2023 (the raffle) whose paid entries are received during the BOFF event held over the weekend of the 9th & 10th of September 2023 will be entered into a draw to win a prize. The cost of each entry into the raffle is £5. Players can purchase up to a maximum of 50 tickets. Once a raffle ticket has been purchased it is not possible to cancel the entry into the raffle nor is it possible to refund the cost of the ticket(s).

To enter the raffle, players must purchase one or more raffle tickets, supply their email address or contact number and select the specific draw they would like to enter. Each ticket is unique and has a serial number. This serial number is used to determine the winner. TICKET PURCHASES MUST BE REGISTERED AGAINST A SPECIFIC PRIZE BY ONE OF OUR RAFFLE ORGANISES IN ORDER TO ENTER THE DRAW.

All entries must be made by the closing date (10 September 2023 at 6pm) in order to gain entry into the raffle.

All players should retain the tickets themselves, as the information written on them is important and players may be asked to show the tickets as proof of entry if a query were to arise following the raffle draw taking place.

By entering into any of the raffles every player is agreeing to abide by the above terms and conditions of the raffle.

Prizes

All entries will be held securely until the date of the draw (10 September 2023). Winning tickets will be determined by a random process in a secure environment, using a Random Number Generator (RNG).

Winners will be notified by email or by phone within 28 days of the draw and will be put in touch with the individual prize donator. It is then the responsibility of the Raffle Entry Winner to arrange receipt of their prize directly with the donator.

By entering the raffle, entrants also agree that if they win, their name will be published on the website. A list of winners will be available on the BOFF website within seven days of the draw at https://www.bigolneyfoodfestival.co.uk/big-charity-raffle/.

There are no cash alternatives to the prizes.

Each prize must be redeemed within twelve months of the draw unless otherwise stipulated on the individual prize terms and conditions. For individual prize terms and conditions please contact the donators.

Whilst every effort will be made to contact winners, if we are unable to make contact within 28 days of the draw we will select an alternative winner using the same RNG process as above.

The organisers of BOFF accept no liability for loss, theft or delay.

All complaints and disputes relating to individual raffle prizes should be taken up with the relevant donators.
