Volunteers needed. Your town need YOU

BOFF is well and truly established as one of Olney’s major events, providing a weekend of marvellous music and fabulous food and fun for all the family. It also raises a great deal of money for many deserving charities. Over the years the event has grown in popularity and is much loved by locals and visitors alike. BOFF is entirely run by a dedicated band of volunteers and this year we are seeking to expand our pool of helpers. Several long standing volunteers have either moved away from the area or are unable to help this year, so in order to be able to run the event successfully we need to recruit new helpers.

We are looking for volunteers for the following:

Friday 8th September (evening)

Setting out tables and chairs and decorating the marquee

Saturday 9th September noon – 23.00

  • Bar work
  • Clearing tables and general tidying duties
  • Raffle ticket sales

Sunday 10th September 9.00

  • Clearing and tidying in preparation for the day’s events

Sunday 10th September 10.00 – 16.00

  • Bar work
  • Clearing tables and general tidying duties
  • Raffle ticket sales
  • Stacking tables and chairs at the end of BOFF

What are the benefits of volunteering?

  • Meeting new people
  • Having fun
  • Learning new skills
  • Contributing to a successful event
  • Giving something back to the local community

Whether you can spare an hour or several, your support would be greatly valued. Volunteers will also receive a drinks voucher for a short shift and a food voucher for a longer shift.
